With the increasing demand for tourism of the society, after being equipped with the essential knowledge and skills, students can easily find jobs with positions as tour guides at the traveling locations, local tour guides, tour operators, and tour guides for the trips, tour managers at travel companies, marketing tour sales staff. Moreover, they work at different positions depending on the professional ability and job requirements. In addition, students can operate independently as a professional tour guide with good moral qualities.

Introducing the training program 

Graduated from high school or equivalent.

- Number of academic years: 03

 - Module: 36 - 38 subjects

- Credit: 90

- Major subjects: Specialized English for tourism 1 - 2 - 3, Tourism design and management 1 - 2, Professional tour guide, Tourism interpretation, Business ethics in tourism, Route Tourism Management, Tourism Quality Management, Wineries and Museum System in Vietnam, Presentation Arts and Organizing Activities, Tourism Communication Skills, Planning Skills, etc.


- Knowledge: 

+ Learners are equipped with professional specialization guidelines: Characteristics, value of tourism resources and destinations; the system of travel service providers; the process of organizing the implementation of the traveling program, the knowledge of explanations and guidance for visitors, and the process of solving arising problems during trips;

+ Learners are equipped with the necessary knowledge for guiding activities such as tourism and hotel overview, tourist psychology, communication skills, vestiges and landscapes in Vietnam, Vietnamese culture, Vietnamese geography, event organization, history of world civilization, Vietnamese historical process, ethnic groups in Vietnam;

 + Learners are provided with additional knowledge for guiding tour such as travel business, Vietnamese literature, Vietnamese economy, office work, menu production, cultural cuisine, accommodation, applied information technology, environment and security-safety in tourism, etc.;

+ Learners are equipped with professional knowledge in order to be able to fulfill professional guidance for international tourists such as: international economy, world geography for tourism;

 + Learners are also provided with basically political knowledge, law, national defense, physical education, and knowledge of computer science and foreign languages.

- Skill:

+ After graduation, students acquire professional skills in the following tasks such as preparing, organizing, interpreting, tour guiding, managing of the delegation, supporting of marketing and advertising, setting up and maintaining relationships with partners, solving arising problems  during the tour, even customer care to respond to the needs of tourists . Ensure quality, hygiene, safety, security, caring and polite requirements; + Students can use the daily communicative language to guide the tourists in some specific activities in the international tours;

+ Students have the ability to work independently, organize teamwork and application of technology, technology for the guidance work; have moral, health, professional conscience, sense of discipline, industrial style, capable of organizing and performing the duties of the tourist guide. Learners are able to find jobs, create their own jobs or continue their studies to higher levels after graduation.

Moreover, they work at different positions depending on the professional ability and job requirements. In addition, students can operate independently as a professional tour guide with good moral qualities. 


All faculty lectures have designed the syllabus for teaching reasonably through comments and suggestions from faculty board as well as colleagues. In addition, faculty lectures often apply a variety of teaching and learning methods, choosing the most appropriate methods to achieve the desired learning outcomes. In addition, the use of a variety of media in the teaching of teachers also contributed to the success of the lecture. Every year, lectures make a plan to enhance their own development teaching skills, job descriptions and send them to the Faculty Board for support.

Lectures of the Faculty also strive to improve their ability to use the technology in e-lesson plans, apply information technology in their lectures (use PowerPoint, fine-arts and videos in practical teaching, providing students with a more visually visual way of learning), giving students practical exercises that are close to the specific majors with the desire to give a better support for access to knowledge. All lecturers in the faculty are able to apply the benefits of information technology to create a lively environment and learning environment and excitement for students.
