The graduates are responsible for directing the production of an audiovisual works that are usually film or television. When starting with a script, the director will direct the visual and artistic effects of the film. At the start of the shoot, the director will set the scene, direct acting and technical facilities. Depending on the terms of the contract, the director may be involved in the making of the film or not (the directors are usuallyin Europe more than in the US). This is the last stage after filming a movie that called "final-cut" (this is the stage to cut the scene does not like it). When intending to produce a movie, the filmmakers contact with the directors and the directors are responsible for ensuring that the movie is a hit. The director must finish on schedule and must not exceed the budget allocated.

Students can capture the basic theory of harnessing, staging and staging practices such as action drama, drama conflict, grasping, defining streamline events, etc. Students learn a number interdisciplinary and specialized knowledge supporting the major disciplines such as background in theater, form, voice, theater history, etc.
Students learn how to work with other creative elements such as stage art design, stage music, and dance in the play. Then practice staging a crowded scene that includes dance, music, and other requirements when dealing with the stage. In addition, students learn a number of interdisciplinary and specialized disciplines complementary to the major disciplines such as traditional theater methods, music analysis, etc.
Students are taught the method of script analysis to explain literary ideas in theatrical language, how to transform literary works into dramas. Then do a complete practice exercise on stage 1 to extract the script in the available script and an excerpt from the adaptation script. In addition, students are taught a number of interdisciplinary and specialized disciplines that complement their major disciplines such as psychology, Vietnamese literature and the world, history of fine arts, theatrical fine arts, analysis drama, etc.
The lectures provide students with basic knowledge and skills in the production of a complete play; structure and layout; construction planning; work with actors. At the end of the course, students complete a stage play. In addition, students are taught a number of interdisciplinary and specialized subjects complementary to major subjects such as Oriental Philosophy, Makeup, etc.
